An Act to amend the Pet Animals Act 1951 regulating the sale of pet animals

[9th May 1983] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:–

Amendment

This section amends the Pet Animals Act 1951, ss 2, 7.

2 Short title, commencement and extent

(1)   This Act may be cited as the Pet Animals Act 1951 (Amendment) Act 1983.

(2)   This Act shall come into operation at the end of a period of six months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

(3)   This Act does not apply to Northern Ireland. NOTES Initial Commencement
